During the celebration the duty of the religious was emphasized: to seek communion with Jesus, a communion that passes through the meekness and the humility; to commit oneself to having control of one's own body, in particular the commitment to live in chastity and continence; to be vigilant, that is, to live constantly in charity, which, while it is a pledge of personal salvation, at the same time is a light of life for men, inasmuch as it manifests and indicates the presence of God.

For their part, the Professed and the Novices have proposed themselves: to persevere in prayer and penance; to form with the confreres a true community of love in the truth and the justice, in the respect and the patience, in the service and in the humility; to witness the Gospel at every moment of life, with the words and the deeds, and to know and implement the rules of life indicated in the
Constitutions.
